Prof Roger Ho is a Professor & Senior Consultant Psychiatrist at the Department of Psychological Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS) and National University Hospital (NUH). He is a Visiting Professor for Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST).
He is the Research Director coordinating research studies for the department, and Principal Investigator & Director of the functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) lab at the NUS Institute for Health Innovation & Technology.
Prof Ho has clinical and research interests in applying functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) in diagnosing psychiatric disorders. He has conducted research to improve the accuracy of psychiatric diagnosis by machine learning.
Prof Ho has published over 650 peer-reviewed papers (H-index >100) and was named one of the world’s most highly cited researchers by Clarivate Analytics from 2021 to 2024.
