Low diagnosis rate in female patients

Many patients with attention deficit (ADD) (especially women) are difficult to detect and diagnose because they do not have symptoms of hyperactivity.

ADHD symptoms persist into adults

In the past, it was generally believed that ADHD only occurs in children, and the symptoms would disappear when the children grow up, but in recent years, it has been found that about 65% of people with ADHD  have symptoms that persist into adulthood.
